Alhaurin Golf Course

Situated behind the mountains of Mijas. It is one of the most ambitious golf courses in Spain. As well Ballesteros' 18-hole course, there is also a small nine hole course and another 18 hole one for children, on which adults are also allowed to play. Located on the mountainside, the views and surroundings are fabulous. The main course is ideal for both pros and amateurs.

La Cala Golf

With the opening of La Cala’s third course it has become one of the largest and most exclusive in Spain. The north course with a length of 6187 metres or the south course with a length of 5996 metres. Designed by Cabell Robinson the courses where founded in 1991. The famous David Leadbetter Golf Academy is also on site.

Mijas Golf

Mijas Golf is probably one of the busiest and most popular courses on the coast. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr. in 1976 Mijas has two 18 hole courses, Los Lagos at 6348 metres with it’s wide fairways and numerous water hazards and Los Olivos at 6009 metres with it’s narrow fairways that require great precision.

Torrequebrada Golf

Designed by Jose Gancedo this rather difficult course was founded in 1976. With a course length of 5806 metres (Par 72). Blessed with magnificent views over the Mediterranean this course has become over the last 12 years one of the favorites for both Professional and Amateur alike and is a must for any golfer.

Miraflores Golf

Founded in 1990 and designed by Falco Nardi Miraflores is renowned for it’s terrific views of the surrounding countryside and down to the sea. This 18 hole 5510 metre (Par 72) course is renowned for it’s large artificial lakes which provide obstacles for several Holes notably the 12th and 15th. Many of the fairways are line with Olive trees which appear to make them narrower than they actually are.

Guadalhorce Golf

Designed by Kosti Kuronen and founded in 1990 guadalhorce is situated between Malaga and Fuengirola just of the main N-340. The course has two very different sections, the first nine being typically European with undulating terrain and difficult greens, the last nine being more of an American style layout with water hazards and elevated greens. The course is 6194 metres in length (Par 72)

Cabopino Golf

Founded in March 2001 and designed by Jaun C this 18 hole (Par 71) course is very modern in design and boasts fantastic views over the coastline. Situated between Marbella (12 km) and Fuengirola (15 km) the course has very easy access being only some 100 metres from the main N-340.

Lauro Golf

This 72 Par 5971 metre course was designed by Folco Nardi and opened in 1992. Situated inland the course has a multitude of difficult fairways and greens notably the 4th, 9th and 18th. Many of the fairways are cut between lines of Olive trees which make the course even more challenging. One interesting touch is that each of it’s 18 holes are named after famous Spanish bullfighters.
