On the 17th January Mijas holds their festival of San Anton which is celebrated with a "romeria" (open air party) at the holy hermitage and reached in carriages and on carts, piled high with flowers and food.

Every Wednesday at 12 noon and Thursday at 9:30 pm Flamenco dancing in the main square

Concerts- by the Municipal music band on the 3rd, 17th July and 7th, 21st August at 9:30 pm

Guided night walks- every Wednesday at 7 pm Departure at Mijas Tourist Office

Flamenco in the Patio- on the 22nd July and every Frday in August at the Folk Museum starts at 9 pm

San Fermin Summer Fair- from 8th until the 10th July at the Casa Navarra on the Mijas to Fuengirola Road

During the first 2 weeks in September A tribute is held to the Patron saint of Mijas “Virgen de la Pena”
