The Costa del Sol with its beautiful landscape, Image of Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol
rugged coastline, and historical value is the destination for thousands of tourists every year. With its splendid weather of hot summers and mild winters it has become the chosen destination for people from all over the world to relocate permanently to, or for a second holiday home.

Being the most southerly province of Andalucia its coastline stretches for some 325 kms with its diverse countryside of mountains, hills and valleys close to the coastline creating some dramatic locations.

Mijas on the Costa del SolStretched along the coastline are many small fishing villages which still to this day are the mainstay of village life, living along stide towns which have know become tourist attractions such as Fuengirola, Estapona, Benalmadena and of course the know world famous Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Malaga with its bustling port and international airport which is conveniently located within a 1 hour drive to all parts of the Costa del Sol is the capital province of this coastline. A lively city steeped in history where the visitor can amble through its windy streets and witness historical buildings such as museums, art galleries and churches living side by side with today’s modern architecture.

Malaga is also the birthplace of many famous artists and poets, notably Spain’s most famous son Pablo Picasso. Today’s Malaga is without doubt a legacy to it’s forefathers which have included over the ages the Phoenicians, Romans, the Arabs and then finally the Christians.
